Henry Aisin-Giro Puyi
Puyi (born February 7, 1906, Beijing, China—died October 17, 1967, Beijing) last emperor (1908–1911/12) of the Qing (Manchu) dynasty (1644–1911/12) in China and puppet emperor of the Japanese-controlled state of Manchukuo (Chinese: Manzhouguo) from 1934 to 1945.
1906-1912: Puyi's early years as a powerless feudal emperor.
1912-1931: His quest for restoration during the Republic era.
1931-1945: Serving as a puppet emperor during the Anti-Japanese War.
1945-1949: Struggling amidst the civil war between the Nationalists and the Communists.
After 1949: Living as an ordinary citizen of New China.
Through five chapters, we reveal how Puyi struggled within the whirlwind of fate, attempting to seize control of his destiny.
